It's a solid restaurant... with a big menu. If u can't find something u like, that's on u.
The flavor on my steak was good but not great. The oysters were great though, as well as the sides I had.
The biscuits they put on the table... now they were a 10.
Inside it's a bit like a club, but friendly and it has a certain charm about it. It's operated continuously at this location since 1946 according to the menu history... so they must do some things right. -

Clark's was a delightful and delicious find on our drive from New England to Florida. The immaculately maintained white exterior had the feel of a New England Coach Road Inn but with delightful southern Low-country charm and hospitality. The interior is plush and beautiful yet welcoming and relaxing. We had our choice of eating in the relaxing looking lounge area or their dining room, we chose the dining room. The menu had numerous drink and food offerings at very reasonable prices. Our waitress was charming, knowledgeable and professional; we even had a crooning bus buy. We truly enjoyed our dinner experience. By the way, Clark's has a gift shop - watch out fellas..

We came here for one night. Delicious Restaurant! And cozy Inn. Granite in bathroom. Classy. Old English style. Fancy wood bedframes and curtains. Fridge in room a plus.
Will come again! -

Very nice atmosphere, pleasant establishment with a good history.
No wait seated immediately. A little slow on drink order but thats ok.
Pecan braised pork with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Very good and pecan glaze was off the chain good.
Chicken Parmesan was a huge portion and very tasty as well. The boneless ribs were excellent.
The philly steak was more of a Mexican fajitas than a philly steak. Not really what I look for in a philly steak. The bread was toast on the bottom that you could not tell was there and very skimpy on the cheese. Needed more cheese.
No I didn't eat all that we were a party of seven.
Overall pleasant experience and great food. -

This restaurant is about a 4.5-star place. You kind of get the feeling that it's not a very popular place to be, so if you care about that then it loses a half a star. But as far as the ambience, service, and food, it's solid. The room we stayed in was satisfactory, maybe a 4-star out of 5. Considering you can stay AND eat breakfast for $100, it works fine. Very unique architecture/ambience.
